We will kick off the 5-day sound feasting with a spontaneous meeting in the Great Hall of the Goethe-Institute.

With the kind initiative and support of Goethe-Institut Bulgaria, dear guest of Sofia Experimental 2025 is Korhan Erel - non-binary electronic musician, improviser, composer and sound artist based in Berlin.

Korhan will demonstrate his setup, we will talk about DIY instruments, his music, his solo and collaborative projects with other artists, the Berlin underground scene ... .

After that we will all indulge in the sound experience together - we will open Sofia Experimental with a spontaneous ensemble experiment. The happening of the collaboration between Korhan Erel and the members of the Sofia's Improwise Ensemble will emerge in front of and together with you.
